Reason why 2.147 is max money.

Okay, so when you load up MapleStory, it allocates space in your computers memory, called RAM. This is used for quick access to it's files and to store them while running the game. Every program on your computer is stored in RAM while it's running. When it's stored, it creates a range of numbers that it's allowed to access. MapleStory's memory range is 0x0400000 to 0x08000000. This number is hexadecimal, computers language. The max number of anything MapleStory can have has to be in between that range in Hexadecimal. Hex can be converted if you go to your computers calculator, click on scientific and click on Hex. Type the Hex number in that you want to convert to decimal, then click on Dec. That method can also go the other way for Decimal to Hex. So anything that MapleStory has, has to be below 0x08000000, which is 0x07FFFFFFF. If you convert 0x07FFFFFFF to decimal it will be 2147483647, which is max for money and exp...

To fix this, they would have to go back to the basics, and pretty much recreate everything in the game.
